Unterföhring / Vienna, December 17, 2020 – Sky Deutschland and Discovery have agreed on a new partnership to continue broadcasting the PGA TOUR. Sky will continue to broadcast all tournaments of the most important golf tour in the USA live. The agreement includes the live rights for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to the TV broadcasting rights via cable and satellite, the agreement also includes Internet, IPTV and mobile rights to the PGA TOUR in these countries.
In addition to the classic live broadcast on Sky Sport, golf fans can also enjoy digital additional offers such as the streams of the ‘Featured Groups’ live on skysport.de to be there.
With the new partnership to continue broadcasting the PGA TOUR, Sky remains the home of the world’s golf elite on German-language television. When the best professional golfers in the world fight for the most important titles, Sky will continue to broadcast live and exclusively, including the PGA TOUR and the top tournament “THE PLAYERS Championship”, including all four majors including the Masters in Augusta and the prestigious Ryder Cup, which was postponed from September 2020 to September 2021. Sky also broadcasts all tournaments of the European Tour and the four tournaments of the World Golf Championships live, also exclusively via classic linear television via satellite and cable.

The first highlight of the new year is on the program from 7th to 10th January 2021 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii. Sky reports live and exclusively from Hawaii for a total of 12 hours.
