Slovenia’s Primož Roglič (“Jumbo-Visma”) took the victory at the finish of the leading group of 16 cyclists, ahead of “Soudal – Quick Step” rider Julien Alaphilippe of France and Adam Yates of Britain (“UAE Team Emirates”).

Skujiņš (“Trek – Segafredo”) finished in a group of 170 riders who lost six minutes and 20 seconds to the leading cyclists, while Neiland (“Israel – Premier Tech”) finished nine minutes and 58 seconds behind the winner.

German Lennards Kemna (“Bora-hansgrohe”) has become the leader in the overall standings, six seconds ahead of Roglič and eight seconds ahead of Portuguese Juan Almeida “(UAE Team Emirates”), who finished eighth on Thursday.

Skujinš loses six minutes and 54 seconds, occupying the 59th place, while Neyland is in the 86th place with a deficit of 11 minutes and ten seconds.

The 58th “Tirreno-Adriatico” bicycle race in history will last seven stages until Sunday. In the previous two years, the victory was celebrated by Slovenian Tadejs Pogačars, who is not defending his title this year, while Skujiņš and Neilands ranked 59th and 64th respectively last year.
