Skorstad, through its wholly-owned Tigerstaden, has taken the opportunity to buy 63,473,256 shares in the Ensurge Micropower issue, which results in an ownership stake of 5.17 per cent after the trade, it was revealed in a stock exchange announcement. Skorstad has thus gone from zero to once again becoming one of the largest owners in the company.
The new issue was to raise NOK 48.4 million. The issue price was set at NOK 0.10 per share. share, the same as in the previous issue. The investor thus bought shares for over NOK 6 million.
Skorstad has been in and out of the micro-battery manufacturer a lot and has used emissions diligently to buy himself up.
Bought 90 million in March
In March, there was a flag message which showed that Ketil Skorstad bought into Ensurge Micropower after a few days on the sidelines.
He bought 90 million shares and took 20 percent of an issue in March. Later, he steadily sold down, before he was completely out at the start of July. Then he made a comeback when the new issue was launched in June.
Above Skorstad on the list we find Edvin Austbø through his investment company Alden. Austbø is the third largest owner with 80 million shares, corresponding to an ownership stake of 6.48 per cent after the issue. According to the shareholder service Holdings, Austbø has bought over 9 million shares on the issue date of 16 June.
Selling shipping, buying technology
According to Holdings, Skorstad has sold Klaveness Combination Carriers, Höegh Autoliners and Akastor. In Höegh Autoliners, the investor has sold shares for just over NOK 23 million since June, and now sits on 350,000 shares in the company, equivalent to NOK 20 million at today’s exchange rate.
On the other hand, he has bought into the technology companies Link Mobility and Techstep. In Techstep, the celebrity investor bought 225,000 shares, increasing his total holding to 975,000 shares, equivalent to NOK 12.7 million at today’s exchange rate.
Skorstad’s largest individual positions are River Tech, Swedish Arcario and Norwegian Endúr.
Collected money
Ensurge Micropower raised NOK 48.4 million through a private placement on 15 June.
The capital from the private issue will be used to finance the company’s operations for the next 3 to 6 months. At the end of April, Ensurge Micropower communicated that they are now producing reliable lithium solid-state microbatteries with high performance and improved production flow, and that they will be ready for volume production of solid-state microbattery products in the second half of this year.
