Škoda, as the leader of Volkswagen’s Indian strategy, was the first to present its innovations for the local market. It’s about crossover Kushaq and Slavia. Volkswagen has already extracted the Taigun crossover from these foundations, and now there is a slave twin, the Volkswagen Virtus.
–
With a length of 4,561 mm and a height of 1,507 mm, the virtus is slightly longer and taller than the slavia, while having the same width of 1,752 mm. Both compact sedans also share a 521-liter trunk and most of the interior.
–
The Virtus, which replaces the aging vento in India, has different front and rear bumpers and lights than damage, but the side profile reveals a close relationship.
–
Supercharged engines are the same as the Slavia. Volkswagen will sell a virtus with a three-cylinder 1.0 TSI engine with 115 hp and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder with two-cylinder deactivation technology and 150 hp.
–
The novelty will hit the Indian market in May.
