The new range of both models consists of three equipment levels, four interior variants and several optional equipment elements, some of which are combined into discounted packages.

The Scala starts at a suggested retail price of CZK 459,900 in the Selection equipment level, CZK 519,900 in the Top Selection equipment level and CZK 559,900 in the sporty Monte Carlo version.

The basic Selection specification includes, for example, an 8-inch virtual cockpit, which replaced the classic analog indicators, as well as infotainment Media with an 8.25-inch display or a traffic sign recognition function.

In the case of the Top Selection equipment level, the standard equipment includes, for example, wireless SmartLink, four USB-C connectors with fast charging of 45 W or ambient lighting with the option of choosing two colors.

The top specification of the Monte Carlo brings in particular the newly available Matrix-LED headlights with the coverage of the surrounding traffic in remote mode. There is also a panoramic roof, drive mode selection, rear parking camera or black painted body accessories.

The engine range continues to include three TSI units from the evo2 generation. The basic engine is a three-cylinder 1.0 TSI with an output of 70 kW, 95 hp, with a manual five-speed gearbox. Two more powerful units can be selected from the Top Selection equipment level.

The 85 kW, 115 hp version is available with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. The same combination of transmissions is also offered by the top four-cylinder 1.5 TSI with an output of 110 kW, 150 hp. The diesel engine has been absent from the offer since 2020.

Subtle modernization

Škoda already showed the facelift of a pair of models on August 1 of this year. It came about four years after the premiere of both models.

Most of it happened in the front. Scala has a cloudier look thanks to narrower headlights, newly mentioned LED Matrix technology. The grille and front bumper also have sharper features.

The central air inlet is divided by side wings and flanked by more prominent air screens. LED front fog lights are standard.

The stern changes minimally, the lamps have the same shape, only different graphics. There remains the option of glazing the roof up to the trunk lid. The stylized diffuser of the rear bumper is flanked on the sides by two design elements painted in the body color, which copy the shape of the front bumper.

Kamiqu remains divided headlights, but the upper strip has a crystalline effect of LEDs, the lower one also offers LED Matrix technology.

Like the scala, the back of the kamiq has the same shaped lights as before the facelift, but with new graphics. The distinctive L-shaped reflectors in the rear bumper will surprise you.

As part of improving aerodynamics, both models received aerodynamic wheel discs modeled on newer Škoda cars. There is also a Monte Carlo version with black accessories and a standard lowered chassis.

Inside, the changes are decent in both cases. However, as part of the simplification of the offer, new materials including seat covers are available for the Selection, Top Selection and Monte Carlo versions. In addition to natural materials such as hemp and kenaf, recycled materials are also used.

The Scala and Kamiq now come standard with an 8-inch virtual cockpit, with a larger 10.25-inch virtual cockpit available as an option.

The freestanding central infotainment touchscreen now has a diagonal of at least 8.25 inches and a glass front. The higher version, called Navi, has a display diagonal of 9.2 inches.

Furthermore, four USB-C connectors with a power of 45 W are available on request for fast charging of mobile devices or laptops. The optionally available electrically operated fifth door can be opened again with the movement of the foot.
