Monte Carlo at Škoda means the sporty look of compact cars. It does not change the technical properties and is always available with a common range of motorization. It will be no different with the new Fabia.
–
Black body elements are a typical change. Not only is the radiator grille frame and spoiler on the specific front bumper painted black, but also the exterior mirror covers, side sill covers and rear bumper diffuser.

The horizontal trim on the instrument panel, parts of the center console and door handles is also red. The lining of the ceiling and columns is painted black. The lower part of the instrument panel, decorated with a white contrasting seam and the armrests of the front doors, has a pseudocarbon design, while the pedal covers have a stainless steel look.

There will be a choice for the Monte Carlo of all new Fabia engines, with the exception of the basic three-cylinder MPI atmospheric filling.
–
The two supercharged 1.0 TSI three-cylinder engines offer 70 kilowatts, 95 hp, with a five-speed manual transmission, or 81 kW, 110 hp, with a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch housing. The highlight is a four-cylinder fifteen-cylinder with 110 kW, 150 hp, exclusively with a two-clutch transmission.
–
Škoda has not yet announced the price of the novelty, the first cars are expected to reach customers in the spring.
–
The edition traditionally points to the brand’s success at the famous Monte Carlo Rally, where the Skoda appeared as early as 1912. In 1936, a special edition of the 70-piece Popular model arrived with this designation for the first time to celebrate second place in its category.
–
Monte Carlo badges first appeared on the second generation Fabia 11 years ago in the modern era. The black body details, sporty interior, and richer standard equipment are reminiscent of the brand’s success at the legendary Monte Carlo Rally.
–
In addition to the second and third fabia, this edition was later also available for the Citigo, Yeti and Rapid Spaceback models. It is currently available for scala and kamiq.
