The electric SUV Enyaq iV became the basis of the ninth Škoda school car. The students of the Škoda Auto Secondary Vocational School turned it into a residential building.
Although the Czech automaker has not yet officially presented the result, KPS Automobile, which collaborated on the project, has already boasted about the rebuild.
Enyaq with residential extension
Thanks to the photos she published, we can see the Enyaq painted in a two-tone green/white combination and especially equipped with a redesigned roof. The roof is newly formed by a residential extension, which increases the space in the interior – in height and length.
The car also received an awning and a tent, forming “hall” living quarters hidden directly in the car. The interior of Enyaq has of course changed significantly. From the available images, it seems that the car was designed for a lone traveler, as we only see the driver’s seat and a bed, the dimensions of which will suit a single overnighter.
Sustainable materials and digital nomadism
There is a new floor in the living area, we can see a number of storage spaces, a work corner with a monitor and several electrical sockets. This corresponds to older information from Škoda, which already revealed in March that the student project is being created as a car that has “allow the owner to become a digital nomad – work without a fixed place at the desk, have freedom of movement and go wherever and whenever they want.”
The automaker also emphasized the use of various sustainable materials. We will have to wait a while for official and, above all, more detailed information, but it certainly won’t take long.
