Škoda models have seen another rise in price. The last time the Mladá Boleslav carmaker raised prices in March, now most of the offer has again been adjusted. The increase in price is different, some by a few thousand, elsewhere by tens of thousands. You can see what has changed in the Škoda offer in the following gallery.
As you can find out in the gallery, prices have risen for most Škoda models, but not for all variants. For example, the Škoda Karoq still costs the same in the basic version, they haven’t changed either prices of the new Fabia, which starts at 329,900 crowns.
“In some cases, there has been a significant increase in the prices of raw materials on world markets,” comments Pavel Jína, a spokesman for Škoda, about the rise in prices. According to him, the carmaker is trying to minimize the effects of rising raw material prices on the final price of cars through a number of measures (for example, long-term contracts with suppliers), but these measures do not fully compensate for them. Therefore, most models are slightly more expensive than in the spring.
