Škoda 1203 is back in the form of a fresh virtual design. Together with our court designer Rost Prokop, we have prepared for you a multi-purpose socialist icon in a completely new coat with modern equipment and a special Funebraq funeral variant!

The central line of the mask follows the main lamps.
Look at the front of the model, which is shaped in the contemporary Škoda Auto design language with futuristic elements. In addition to the sporty bumper, the car received a chrome-lined radiator grille with a central line that follows the LED daytime running lights of the main diode lights equipped with Matrix technology.
The side line of the new 1203, which copies the concept of the original piece, consists mainly of the upper glazed part with “invisible” pillars. In addition to the aerodynamic moldings, the cast wheels with aero covers and the absence of door handles are also interesting.

Handles are not needed, as the door reacts by rebounding to pressing the button from below under the upper molding, or to placing a finger in front of the sensor, which also ensures that the door is partially opened. There is also a sensor under the car at the back, which allows you to open the fifth door completely contactless.
The rear part then consists of a discreet bumper and a hinged fifth door with end diode lamps evoking a mystical look. There is also a huge glass ensuring a wide view towards the rear.

Low-slung lamps gave way to a large rear window.
Due to the design of the car, only small-volume three-cylinder 1.0 TSI and four-cylinder 1.5 TSI can fit under the hood. Technically, however, the build allows the use of a 1.6 TDI diesel unit. Transmissions are either six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG automatics. We will also delight lovers of electrification, because a plug-in hybrid with a new 1.5 TSI engine and a range of up to 90 km on a single charge is also on the way.

Škoda 1203 Funebraq will ensure a stylish final journey.
And since the original Škoda 1203 was also popular in its funeral version, we have prepared a Funebraq variant for you in a similar style. The tribute car features silver-painted lower bumpers and sills, which you may recognize from the Fabie Scoutline, for example. The main distinguishing feature, however, is the silver-trimmed windows in the style of the original. Because when it comes to fun, then stylishly.

However, the multi-purpose novelty bearing the name Škoda 1203 is just our vision as part of a regular series where we design and bring to life various cars. Although many users would certainly appreciate a practical modern 1203 with internal combustion engines, there is a probability bordering on certainty that such a car will never be born. And if so, it will probably be different than the vision we created that you are looking at right now…
