Vlado Karamazov has asked for a fabulous sum to host the new season of “Survivor”, which returns to the air on BTV after a long break. The shooting of the 6th season of the reality show should start this month, but the actor has not yet signed his contract, say people familiar with the matter. Rumor has it that he wants at least BGN 100,000 to enter the production, and the television offers him many times less.
The star of the series “Devil’s Throat” was the host of four of the five seasons of “Survivor” broadcast so far in Bulgaria. With the money from his previous participations in the adventure reality show, according to the gossip, he managed to buy and furnish a luxury apartment in the center of Sofia, as well as a brand new car.
He also became a superstar, quit his job at the National Theater and began performing as a solo player in the cultural field. He has been earning very well lately as an influencer, so if he wants to, he can live well without working.
Photography, which was his hobby until a few years ago, is also starting to bring him a good income, and the actor even managed to make a donation of BGN 75,000 to the pediatric hospital after selling his photos.
Against the background of all these achievements, he refuses to join Survivor just because of the good idea. He also wants good money. Although the photos of the form are planned for the coming weeks, he still does not know whether he will accept the offer to become its host or not. “I wonder,” Karamazov said on one of his social media pages.
Fans of the actor rushed to persuade him to enter the reality show for the fifth time in a row for survivors. “No wonder! Yes! ”,“ No wonder… Accept! Take me for support too! ”,“ Just think how much filming material there will be ”,“ No time to wonder, act! ”, They beg him.
However, the actor is still not convinced that he should embark on this adventure. It is known that at the age of 42 he complains of pain, more typical of retirees. From active physical activity in the theater and in front of the cameras, he developed joint problems.
His back hurts, his knees sometimes fail, and some time ago he complained that his vocal cords had a hard time withstanding the constant talking on stage every night.
His chest, on the other hand, received muscle fever from the monologues he often had to utter. That’s why the star had left the theater for a year. He returned to the stage only a little over a month ago with the performance of Yavor Gardev’s “The Tail”.
He was now so enthusiastic about playing that he had no desire to give up going to the jungle unless he was offered a sum he could not resist.
According to Vlado, 100 vouchers is a good incentive to re-enter reality for survivors. However, BTV stretched. They have been avoiding paying big salaries and fees there lately, Weekend wrote.
It is known that the fabulous sums they paid to their stars were sharply melted by the Kovid crisis. Even Karamazov’s friend, Evtim Miloshev, cannot influence financial decisions on television.
He is no longer the producer of the show, but only a creative producer, which means that it is difficult to manage his budget. That is why he relies more on Karamazov’s warm feelings for reality than on promises of hefty fees. However, the actor has experienced “Survivor” four times already. And he’s still not sure he’s willing to enter it for the fifth time.
