Tragedy from a car accident yesterday in Skiathos. The fatal traffic accident happened yesterday, Thursday, April 25, 2024, late at night, in the area of Megali Ammos, when for an unknown reason, a 17-year-old bicyclist lost control of the bike he was driving and crashed into garbage bins, causing him to fall dead.
As the Police announced, shortly before midnight on Thursday, the bicycle driven by the 17-year-old, while he was on the straight line of the Skiathos-Koukounaria road in the area of Megali Ammos, “pinned” into waste bins located at the edges of the road.
The 17-year-old was taken unconscious to the Skiathos Health Center by EKAV ambulance and the doctors pronounced him dead. According to information, his death was instantaneous, due to the severe collision, while it was found that the driver was not wearing a helmet.
