Ski lifts in the Black Forest and the Corona rules in ski areas – SWR news

Skiing in the Black Forest: Especially in these times, a ray of hope for the Christmas holidays for many. Where the lifts run and which rules apply there – an overview.

Many lifts are running and thanks to the early snow (and the snowmaking systems) the winter season in the Black Forest has got off to a promising start. The lift operators want to really start the season by the start of the Christmas holidays at the latest. And the prospects for winter sports fans are not bad: after Christmas it could get colder and then there could be new snow.

“Every guest is welcome and skiing in the Black Forest can currently be recommended with a clear conscience.”

Tourism providers and lift operators do not want to experience a winter like last year with idle lifts, says Black Forest tourism boss Hansjörg Mair. The first days of this winter season have already started well. Many skiers are grateful not to have to cross the border to France, Austria or Switzerland. Uniform corona rules ensure clarity.

The corona rules

The following rules apply to all ski areas:

  • Mask compulsory in the cabins and in the waiting area (applies to children from six years of age)
