Alexis Monney must end his season. The 23-year-old Friborg suffers from a partial rupture of the internal ligament in his right knee after his fall during the 2nd descent of Aspen on Saturday.
Fortunately, Alexis Monney will not need to undergo an operation which would have lengthened his healing process. His injury will be treated conservatively.
The Fribourgeois achieved several performances of choice downhill for his 1st full season in the World Cup. He notably obtained a 10th place during the mythical descent of Wengen and an 11th on the equally legendary Streif.
