The retired Lebanese artist, Amal Hijazi, has published x-rays revealing that she has more than one leg fracture, following an accident, through her personal account on the “Instagram” site.
And he wrote: “I had a strong accident. We remember her when we lose her.”
And he continued: “Yes, I have loved and prayed that a person, if he is in full health and is able to stand up and sit down, is the greatest blessing that we forget and come back to remember him when we lose him.
And he added: “If a person falls ill and asks him for all his money to get well, he will not delay, even for a moment, in losing all his money in exchange for his health. God heals every sick person”.
In the following report, we mention the causes of a broken foot, its symptoms and the treatment and complications, according to what is reported on the “mayoclinic” website.
What are the causes of a broken foot?
A broken foot refers to an injury to the bone and can occur from a car accident or a simple fall.
Their severity varies and can range from tiny cracks in the bones to fractures that penetrate the skin.

If you break your foot, you may experience some of the following signs and symptoms:
intense pain
Pain that increases with activity and decreases with rest.
swelling.
bruises
Pain when touching the fracture site.
Difficulty walking or carrying anything.

1. Traffic accidents
Car crash injuries cause fractures that require surgery.
2. The fall
Tripping and falling can break your ankles, as can landing on your feet after a jump from a small height.
3. Hitting a heavy weight
Dropping something heavy on your feet is a common cause of foot fractures.
4. Moving in the wrong direction
Moving in the wrong direction can sometimes lead to bone fractures.
5. Long distance running
Stress fractures are common in the weight-bearing bones of the feet.
Risk factors:
You may be more susceptible if:
1. Participating in high impact sports such as basketball, football, gymnastics, tennis and soccer can cause foot fractures.
2. Using defective sports methods or equipment, such as improperly sized shoes, leading to stress fractures and falls.
Inappropriate exercise methods, such as not doing stretching exercises, can also lead to foot injuries.
3. Sudden increases in the frequency or duration of exercise sessions can increase the risk of stress fractures.

6. Having a lack of bone density (osteoporosis) can put you at risk for injury to the bones in your foot.
Complications:
1. Arthritis:
Fractures that extend into a joint can cause arthritis.
2. Bone Infection (Osteomyelitis):
If you have an open fracture, which means that one end of the bone protrudes through the skin, the bone may be exposed to bacteria that cause infection.
3. Damage To Nerves Or Blood Vessels:
A foot fracture can affect nearby nerves and blood vessels and sometimes break them.
