Last Saturday, skeptics organized two demos against the coronavirus measures. They turned out to be quite unequal – that makes for trouble internally.

the essentials in brief
- At the weekend, AR demos against the corona measures took place in Bern and Urnäsch.
- The Zurich demo was moved to Appenzell, and the police intervened in Bern.
- Corona skeptics are now making mutual accusations on social media.
An angry corona skeptic describes the demonstration of his colleagues in Urnäsch AR as “kick in the eggs”: Last Saturday around 500 people gathered there for a Trychler train to demonstrate against the measures taken by the corona virus.
A rally should have taken place in Bern at the same time – but nothing came of it. The police nipped the demo in the bud: over 100 people were turned away, some even reported, and Bundesplatz was closed. The organizers dreamed of 50,000 participants in the run-up, an estimated 200 came.
Corona skeptic Christian Rüegg was also arrested. “Assholes and too stupid to shit,” he called the police officers (video below).
The demo had to be moved to Appenzell because the Antifa had announced itself in Zurich. In Urnäsch the police reacted more calmly: only personal checks were carried out, only the organizers were reported.
When demonstrating the coronavirus: “Were laughing numbers in Bern”
Unmasked, happy and undisturbed faces in Urnäsch, a handful of encircled demonstrators in Bern: The images of the two coronavirus rallies couldn’t be more different. That upset one of the skeptics who protested in the federal city over the weekend.
