Frölunda lost against Skellefteå AIK

With 7-6 (2-2, 2-1, 2-3, 1-0) after extra time away from home against Frölunda, Skellefteå has taken a hold on the SC semi-final. Skellefteå has a grip on the match series with 3-1, and only needs one more victory to reach the SC final.
Andreas Johnson scored at 16.09 in extra time and became the hero of the match with his 7-6 goal.
Skellefteå started the match energetically and took the lead immediately at the opening of the match. After just 1.38, Jonathan Johnson pounced on passes from Dylan Sikura and Andreas Johnson.
Frölunda equalized at 1-1 after 6.50, through Jere Innala assisted by Mikael Ruohomaa.
Skellefteå took the lead again after 8.36, when Linus Lindström found the right play from Arvid Lundberg and Filip Sandberg.
Frölunda equalized at 2-2 after 9.28, when Tom Nilsson struck on passes from Linus Högberg and David Edstrom.
In the second period, it was Skellefteå that was sharpest. The team won the period with 1-2 and the score after two periods was 3-4.
In the third period, Frölunda was the strongest. The team won the period 3-2 and the score after three periods was 6-6.
In extra time, it took 16.09 before Skellefteå decided 6-7. The match winner for the away team was Andreas Johnson, on a pass from Linus Lindström and Dylan Sikura.
Frölunda’s Jere Innala accounted for two goals and an assist and Mikael Ruohomaa scored a goal and also played until two goals.
The teams meet again on Sunday 18.30, in Skellefteå Kraft Arena.
