Due to the prevailing weather conditions with strong winds, Skellefteå Kraft is calling in extra personnel to deal with operational disruptions in the electricity grid.
The strong winds in the area where Skellefteå Kraft has its electricity grid have caused several power outages during Thursday. Most of these disruptions have been caused by fallen trees on power lines.
Due to the fact that the forecast indicates continued strong winds during Thursday, Skellefteå Kraft has taken the decision to go into so-called intensified operation.
This means that we cancel planned work that is not urgent and call in extra staff. Thus, the entire workforce can work with troubleshooting and troubleshooting in the power grid.
