On Monday, Skellefteå AIK took history’s fourth SM gold, ten years since the last one.
The municipality of Skellefteå struck with a big celebration on the square during Walborg fair night.
– Everyone is of course welcome to celebrate the gold. It will be a wonderful atmosphere and a wonderful atmosphere, greeted Karl-Henrik Dagman, marketing manager of Skellefteå municipality, in a press release ahead of the celebration.
Team captain: “Will be fantastic”
The players were celebrated on stage in front of a massive crowd.
– It will be absolutely fantastic to share the gold celebration with all the people who have been with us all the way to this gold, said Skellefteå AIK’s team captain Jonathan Pudas before the evening.
