Skeletons found in Vianen lie in an old mass grave | Inland

VIANS – The twenty skeletons recently uncovered during excavation work in Vianen turn out to be in a mass grave from the late Middle Ages to several hundred years ago. Archaeological research agency De Sample has determined that 44 individuals, mostly young people, it seems, have bones on the surface. Specialist research must later reveal how they died, for example in a battle or an epidemic.
