The Allosaurus is considered a smaller precursor to the Tyrannosaurus rex. The skeleton, 10 meters long and 3.5 meters high, is more than 150 million years old, according to the auction house. It was found in Wyoming in 2016. In terms of size, there is only one comparable allosaurus skeleton. That is 9.7 meters long and is located in the Museum of Natural History in New York.
