South Korean telecom giant SK Telecom presented its own cryptocurrency wallet, developed in collaboration with Team Blackbird, the company behind CryptoQuant. This is reported by CoinDesk.
In addition to basic functions, the wallet is equipped with tools for analyzing blockchain data. According to Team Blackbird CEO Ki Young Joo, this will help users in investing and trading.
The head of the SK Telecom Web3 team, Chung Seung Kim, said that the decision “will contribute to the flourishing of the South Korean cryptocurrency market, known for its high trading volumes and significant local interest [к индустрии]».
The company announced its own wallet for digital assets back in July 2022. At that time, blockchain firms AhnLab Blockchain Company and Atomrigs Labs participated in its development.
Earlier, the money transfer service MoneyGram announced its own non-custodial wallet for cryptocurrencies “using stablecoin technology.” It will be presented in the first quarter of 2024.
