“Belasí” won 2:1 in last week’s first match against the opponent and are closer to the progress that would ensure their participation in the cup throughout the autumn, since even in case of failure in the next qualifying rounds of the LM or the European League, they would appear in the group stage of the European Conference leagues.
More than 20,000 fans are going to watch the Bratislava fight live, and those from Hungary will not be missing either. The police assessed Wednesday’s fight as risky and are preparing several measures to ensure safety and public order. Before the rematch, the management of Slovan called on their supporters not to be provoked by possible verbal attacks.
“We call on the fans to refrain from any nationalistic shouts and not to try to bring any nationalistic banners into the stadium. Refrain from throwing cups or objects on the playing field. Any such action, including national insults, may result in the stadium being closed for the next European match! ” wrote Slovan on his website.
