Feyenoord did excellent business in Group E tonight. The Rotterdam team won 1-2 in Berlin, while SK Slavia Prague won 1-0 at home against Maccabi Haifa FC.
That result is certainly not unfavorable for Feyenoord. If Maccabi Haifa FC had won tonight, Feyenoord would already have been certain of at least second place, but the ticket for the knockout phase can almost be booked due to the victory of the Czechs.
Slavia Prague won 1-0 with a goal from Jan Kuchta in the 49th minute and it rises one place in the ranking, to second place. Feyenoord is group winner with at least a draw in Prague on November 25 and thus qualified for the knockout phase of the Conference League.
