SK (034730) Group will present a blueprint for a ‘net zero’ world where the climate crisis has disappeared at ‘CES 2024’, the world’s largest home appliance and IT exhibition, held in Las Vegas, USA for four days starting January 9th next year.
SK Group announced on the 14th that seven affiliates, including SK Corporation and SKC (011790), will participate in CES 2024 and jointly operate an exhibition hall with the theme of ‘Inspire Happiness’. The exhibition hall will be presented in a theme park format so that visitors can experience the happiness that can be felt in a net-zero world where the climate crisis has disappeared. The exhibition hall size is 1850㎡ (approximately 560 pyeong), expanded by 627㎡ (approximately 190 pyeong) compared to CES 2023 in January.
Previously, SK Group announced at CES 2022 that it would reduce 200 million tons, or 1% of the global carbon reduction target, by 2030, and at CES 2023, it disclosed the technologies needed to implement the carbon reduction roadmap and about 40 projects it is pursuing.
