The Senators canceled training Monday as a precautionary measure after Holden and Capuano were sidelined on Sunday.
They then entered the names of Connor Brown and Gambrell on Monday and revealed they would not be accompanying the team to Boston.

Penguins: two players are back in training
The Pittsburgh Penguins may be nearing the end of the COVID-19 outbreak that has forced eight players and head coach Mike Sullivan to comply with COVID-19 protocol in recent weeks.
Defenders Chad Ruhwedel and Marcus Pettersson trained on Wednesday.
Assistant coach Todd Reirden – who replaces Sullivan – said a decision will be made Thursday night as to their chances of returning to the game as the Penguins host the Florida Panthers.
The two defenders must follow the protocol related to COVID-19 since October 31. The two said on Wednesday they were symptomatic during their quarantine.
The Penguins are still without captain Sidney Crosby, defenseman Brian Dumoulin and their head coach.
