The other non-league team to reach the bottom 32, fifth-tier Boreham Wood, also had a tough game when the draw took place on Sunday, a trip to championship leader Bournemouth.
Third division Cambridge, which beat Newcastle away in the biggest upheaval of the third round, were tied at home to second division Luton.
There were three Premier League clashes: Everton vs. Brentford, Tottenham vs. Brighton and Wolverhampton vs. Norwich, while the favorites for the competition drew at home against opposition from the lower leagues.
Defending Premier League champions Manchester City host Fulham, Liverpool play Cardiff and Chelsea take on Plymouth.
