Sixteen left, a small grasshopper with a big heart and a two-time winner of the Great Pardubice

The two-time winner of the Great Pardubice White Sixteen is already in the horse’s sky. Czech Television reported on the end of the 20-year-old mare’s life.

Sixteen was bought in France by director Jaroslav Bouček and coached by Josef Váňa the Elder. She won the Pardubice team for the first time in the saddle with Dušan Andrés in 2007. Her court jockey was Josef Bartoš, and she succeeded a year later. The second goal was made, but Amant Gris was disqualified for not missing the turning point.

Her time of 8: 58.99 minutes from 2008 is the second fastest in history. She was second twice and third once. She won ten of the 44 obstacle races and earned over nine million crowns.

“She was one of the greatest legends and was nicknamed the White Queen. In 2007, when the British Princess Anna presented her with an award, she said about her, such a small grasshopper with such a big heart, and that is exactly what characterizes her life,” said Bouček.

Last year another mare left and also the two-time winner of the Great Pardubice Registana.
