Sixteen Tanah Abang Police detainee escaped from inside the bars. They escaped by cutting the iron bars.
The prisoners escaped in the early hours of Monday (19/2) when the atmosphere was quiet. To carry out their action, the prisoners cut the prison bars while singing.
For three weeks they cut through the iron bars until they finally managed to escape. Currently, 10 of the 16 escaped prisoners have been arrested by the police.

Six escaped prisoners were named on the wanted list (DPO). Currently the police are still hunting for the six detainees.
Trellis Sawed For 3 Weeks
The police revealed that the prisoners’ method of escape was by cutting the bars using a saw. It took 3 weeks for the prisoners to cut the iron grille.

“The saw was used to cut back the trellis one by one, for at least 3 weeks,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, Thursday (22/2).
Cut the Trellis for 3 Weeks
This was done by the sixteen suspects in turn. They cutting iron bars while singing so that his actions are not discovered by prison guard officers.
“Taking turns, while singing to trick the voice and so on,” he said.
