In Yekaterinburg, a six-year-old boy was found dead, the search for which continued for the past three days. According to investigators, he died a few months ago. The cause of death was not reported.
Daler Bobiev’s body was found in a large bag on the territory of a garage complex in Yekaterinburg, Valery Gorelykh, official representative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region, said. “During the investigation of the criminal case on the murder of a child born in 2017, it was established that in August 2019 a 33-year-old resident of Yekaterinburg was appointed as the boy’s guardian. The suspect in the murder of a minor was detained, ”the agency said in a statement.
Murder or accident?
During interrogation after the arrest, the guardian stated that the boy drowned when he was alone with his sister in the bathroom, writes E1.RU.
“She claims that the boy was bathed in the bathroom, but she was not around. And as if he was left alone with his 13-year-old sister. All of this, of course, will be checked. If an accident really happened, then Veronica will be punished only for concealing the crime, ”writes E1.RU, citing a source in the UK.
In addition, according to the publication, other children who were under the care of Naumova may not have known about the death of the boy.
“Veronika recently told them that Daler ran away from the teacher, they couldn’t find him, but asked not to tell anyone, because she was afraid that other children would be taken away,” E1.RU writes, citing the director of the school where the woman worked.
In total, Naumova had six children – three relatives and three under guardianship.
The rest of the children who were under the care of the woman have now been sent to a social institution, they are safe, writes It’s My City.

The Investigative Committee announced the initiation of a criminal case of negligence, which resulted in the death of a person, against employees of the guardianship authorities.
“According to preliminary data, as a result of the inaction of officials responsible for proper control over the upbringing of a child under guardianship, conditions have arisen that contribute to the commission of a particularly serious crime against a minor,” the ministry’s press release says.
Earlier it was also reported that the Minister of Social Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region instructed to conduct an audit in the Department of Social Policy No. 25, whose employees patronized the family.
