Cuauhtémoc, Chih.- A Control Judge ordered the prosecution of six people arrested during a search conducted on August 23 in the Las Huertas subdivision, where weapons, ammunition and vehicles were also seized.
They are accused of several crimes, including murder.
The detainees were charged with attempted aggravated homicide, unnamed crime for possession of a vehicle reported stolen, criminal association, possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the Army, and possession of magazines and cartridges.
The armed men were captured in a coordinated operation between personnel from the State Investigation Agency, the State Public Security Secretariat and the National Defense Secretariat as alleged perpetrators of violence.
At the hearing held on August 30, it was announced that the detainees will be placed under the precautionary measure of preventive detention, for which reason they will remain interned in State Prison No. 1 in Aquiles Serdán. In addition, a three-month period was set for the Public Prosecutor’s Office to carry out the complementary investigation, while jurisdiction is declined for crimes that correspond to the federal sphere. The report indicates that Jaime HG was linked for the crime of attempted qualified homicide, while for the unnamed crime, Mario HG, Manuel René MV, Javier Eulogio CG, Guadalupe CP, Enrique MF, and Maximino LV were linked. As for criminal association, Mario HG, Manuel René MV, Javier Eulogio CG, Guadalupe CP, Enrique MF, and Maximino LV were linked; For possession of cartridges and magazines for weapons for the exclusive use of the Army, Mario HG, Manuel René MV, Javier Eulogio CG, Guadalupe CP, Enrique MF, and Maximino LV were charged.
