Six other actors join the cast of “Physical” [Apple TV+]

Apple continues to complete the cast of “Physical”, a series set in California in the 1980s and which will arrive exclusively on Apple TV +.

The series will be written by Annie Weisman (Almost Family) and actress Rose Byrne will play Shila, an unhappy housewife in a Southern California beach community in the 1980s. The story follows that of a struggling woman. in her life as a housewife to find an unconventional path through aerobics.

According to Variety, six new actors will join the cast. Paul Sparks (“House of Cards”) will play a conservative real estate agent who idealizes the concept of an American family. Comedian Rory Scovel will play Shelia’s husband, a radical Berkley professor trying to get into politics. Lou Taylor Pucci (“Evil Dead”) will play Tyler, a sensitive surfer and budding director. Della Saba, known for giving her voice in shows such as “Steven Universe”, will play Bunny, an enigmatic aerobics instructor with a warm temper and a mysterious past. Dierdre Friel, who also stars in “Little America” ​​also on Apple TV +, will play Greta, the mother of Shila’s daughter’s school friend. Finally, Ashley Liao (“Fuller House”) will play a student in love with Shila’s husband.

“Physical” will join other comedies already present on TV +, including the comedy “Ted Lasso” and that linked to the world of video games, or “Mythic Quest”.
