Mexico City, Oct 24 (EFE) .- Six Olympic bronze medalists at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games lead the list of the Mexican team to face Ecuador in a friendly match to be played on October 27 in the United States .
Jesús Angulo, from the Atlas; Roberto Alvarado, from Cruz Azul; Fernando Beltrán, Jesús Angulo, Uriel Antuna, from Guadalajara; and Eduardo Aguirre, from Santos Laguna, were the six summoned.
In the list, released this Sunday, the Argentine Gerardo Martino, the Mexican coach, called 18 players from the local League to face Ecuador at the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States.
With problems arming the Mexican team as it is not a FIFA Date and without players from América and Monterrey, who will play the final of the Concacaf Champions League on Thursday, Martino will have several players with little or no experience in the senior team .
Mexico will travel to Charlotte this Sunday afternoon, after an hour of starting the concentration to face the Ecuadorians, who reached the quarterfinals in the last Copa América.
