Six North Korean officers were killed in an attack in the Donetsk region

North Korean officials had arrived for consultations with their Russian counterparts. Three other North Korean soldiers were injured.

In June, news broke that North Korea plans to send construction and military engineering forces to “renovation work” in the part of Donetsk region.

Western intelligence agencies estimate that half of the approximately three million artillery shells do so Russia used within a year, delivered from North Korea.
