Eight Limburg companies will represent the Netherlands at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the coming days. That is the largest tech fair in the world.

The companies are part of a trade mission led by Prince Constantijn of Orange and State Secretary Mona Keijzer to the tech and innovation fair, which this year will not take place in Las Vegas but completely digitally due to the corona virus.
Limburg contribution
These are the companies i4Things (Roermond), ECO Wheat Straws (Maastricht-Airport), CRDL (Maastricht), Knowtice (Margraten), COMPO Software (Margraten) and 8vance Matching Technologies (Venlo). The digital tech fair will be held from 11 to 14 January. During these four days, the companies will demonstrate virtually what their products are capable of.
Largest delegation
Prince Constantijn is the foreman of TechLeap.nl, the former StartupDelta. This organization wants to help the most innovative Dutch start-ups to grow further. A total of 80 Dutch innovative growth companies are participating in the tech fair. That is the largest Dutch delegation ever.
Breakthrough
The CES is an annual meeting place of some 170,000 companies and investors from some 160 countries. The Netherlands is participating in the CES for the fifth time this year. Over the past four years, more than 200 Dutch companies have visited the stock exchange. For many of them, CES was a breakthrough. These companies are estimated to have generated tens of millions of euros in sales and hundreds of quality jobs across the country since joining.
