An unknown man injured a number of individuals with a knife within the central market sq. of town of Mannheim, in southwestern Germany. In accordance with German media, far-right activist and blogger Michael Stürzenberger, amongst others, was stabbed.
Photos exhibiting the assault are circulating on social media. These come from a dwell broadcast by Stürzenberger himself. The photographs present how an unknown man stabs a number of individuals, one individual seems to be injured within the leg.
An officer who got here to assist seems to be stabbed within the neck by the attacker. One other officer then shot the perpetrator. That is additionally confirmed by the Mannheim police.
