according to West France, several supporters of the football club
AS Saint-Etienne are prosecuted for theft committed after a match against
Angers SCO, May 24, the evening of the last day of L1 in the 2018-2019 season.

That evening, the bus that brings back the supporters of Saint-Etienne stops around 11:45 p.m. at the Longué-La-Couaille rest area in the Saumur region, in Maine-et-Loire. Several of them, wearing the AS Saint-Etienne jersey, are taking advantage of this stop to steal food and computer equipment from the service station. The owner of the premises filed a complaint. The investigation, opened by the Saumur prosecution, was then transferred to the Saint-Etienne prosecution, recalls West France.

Judged in May before the criminal court of Saumur

Thanks to video surveillance images and after nine months of investigation, the Saint-Etienne police were able to identify and arrest six Green fans, including four adults and two minors, earlier this week. They will be tried in May 2020 before the criminal court of Saumur.
