Munich – Six graduates from the district of Fürstenfeldbruck received the Bavarian state government’s master prize at a ceremony held by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria in Munich’s GOP Varieté-Theater.
With their excellent examination performance, the following graduates belong to the group of 181 top Bavarian graduates in 70 different IHK further training examinations: Verena Ahrens, certified specialist for office and project organization, Lena Franziska Effinger, certified specialist for office and project organization, Lea Kolbe, certified specialist in the Health and social services, Nico Schliebe, certified retail business administrator, Patrick Seibt (certified IT project manager,
Alexander Karl Anton, certified master for event technology. In the past examination year 2022, more than 6,000 participants successfully completed their further training to become a master craftsman, business administrator, specialist merchant or business economist.
Markus Söder congratulates the graduates
Bavaria’s Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) and Manfred Gößl, General Manager of the IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria, congratulated the graduates. “As the best of the best, you will set the turbo for your professional career, because with your knowledge and skills you are very popular with our companies. As highly qualified specialists and executives, you are also a guarantor for Bavaria’s successful economic future,” said Gößl about the award winners. Söder explained: “Our professional training is highly recognized around the world. That is why we should value them more. Anyone who takes the equivalence of professional and academic education seriously must make master craftsman training free of charge – we in Bavaria are leading the way with this.”
Train on site
Söder and Gößl also thanked the around 9,000 honorary examiners from the IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria, whose expertise and commitment are indispensable in vocational training and further education. Gößl invited the graduates to contribute their specialist knowledge, their skills and their passion to vocational training in the future: “Everyone who trains on site in the companies and examines voluntarily at the IHK makes a personal contribution to new generations of skilled workers. They ensure that our local businesses can continue to build on top young talent.” This was raised retroactively to January 1, 2023 from 2,000 to 3,000 euros. In 2022, the IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria paid out master craftsman bonuses of 5.1 million euros to 2,550 master craftsman graduates.
