Six-Fours overcomes Montluçon

In front of the Ducal Palace of Nevers, the triplet of Six-Fours-Les-Plages beat that of Montluçon by the score of 13-3. The team from Millau becomes the first to qualify for the grand final of these 2021 Youth Masters.

The Millau team continues its journey in this 2021 edition of the Youth Masters. Noah Breton, Lou Labarthe and Lorenzo Debard, winners of the fourth stage at Six-Fours-les-Plages, qualified for the grand final after their victory against the Montluçon triplet Jordan Bonnaure-Louka Guilhot-Nathan Petit. In this first semi-final, the game progresses slowly, at its own pace. The score is only 3-1 after 5 leads.

A close match despite the wide score

Accurate back-up against a successful shot, the two formations surrendered blow for blow. At the 7e Particularly leading: Montluçon may well place these balls a few centimeters from the goal, Lorenzo Debord and Noah Breton cleans the area. Then Lou Labarthe takes over and points to ensure a lead of 3 points. Nicolas Breton’s proteges take off (6-1). The leads may be tight, the Millau team takes off and flies to 12-1 carried by a Noah Breton regular in shooting and point.

Le show Louka Guilhot

This is when Louka Guilhot, Montluçon pointer, comes out of his box. The bowler licensed in Rumilly will delay the inevitable deadline, by managing to get out the goal four times, to the applause of an admiring public in front of his regularity and precision. Guilhot will then take matters into his own hands to start his team’s recovery in points, by placing the last ball perfectly twice (12-3).

Millau’s victory at the end of the end

Not enough, however, to hope for better, the gap is too large and Six-Fours-les-Plages ensures the point they lack to win 13-3. The triplet from Millau continues its course and will play in the final against the winner of the game between Nevers and Romans-sur-Isère.
