It’s been a month since Six Flags and Cedar Fair have joined forces in a merger valued at $8 billion to become the largest amusement park operator in North America.

Since then, the new company, called Six Flags Entertainment Corp., has been making a lot of changes. Schlitterbahn Waterparks, one of the Cedar Fair companies incorporated in the merger, will launch its All Park Passport that will give season pass holders access to more than 40 amusement and water parks.
The pass is an add-on to 2025 season passes and will provide access to all Six Flags parks, both Schlitterbahn water parks and more.

The All Park Passport can only be purchased as an add-on when purchasing a Six Flags Gold Pass, Schlitterbahn Texas 2 Splash Pass, or Cedar Fair Prestige Pass. Pricing will vary depending on the park purchased and the type of pass.
This consolidates both companies’ parks under one umbrella, and most importantly for Texans, Six Flags’ corporate headquarters moves from Arlington to Charlotte, NC

This is not the only change in amusement parks.
The Charlotte, North Carolina, company has eliminated extra charges for food, drinks and other purchases inside Six Flags parks, and introduced a policy requiring children under 15 to be accompanied by an adult at least 21 at Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags of America.
“This decision demonstrates that we listen to our guests and value their feedback,” said Tim Fisher, chief operating officer of Six Flags. “It also reinforces our commitment to increasing customer satisfaction, enhancing our value proposition and ensuring families have a memorable day filled with fun and entertainment.”
