A traffic accident occurred this Friday, May 26 between the sub-prefectures of Souguéta and Linsan in the prefecture of Kindia (archive image).
A woman who was going to get married in Dalaba and her companions found themselves in this collision between the minibus and the truck.
In an interview with Conakry Infos, Moussa Camara, the communication officer of the Alpha Oumar Diallo regional hospital in Kindia explains the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
“It was around 12 p.m. that we received at the Kindia hospital the deposit of 6 bodies and 5 injured from a traffic accident. The tragedy occurred in Souguéta. According to our sources, the victims in a car were returning from a wedding that took place in Dalaba. Their vehicle collided with a truck coming from Linsan. Beyond the dead, we also received 5 injured who are in surgery for treatment. “, he said.
The areas of Souguéta and Linsan have become the scene of serious accidents which sometimes lead to cases of death.
Faced with this situation, the authorities of the regional hospital did not fail to caution the users of the national road N°1.
“Speeding kills!” Therefore, the holders of rolling machines must be vigilant and suspicious (…)”, advised Moussa Camara to the drivers.
