Six communes of the country will go to the Transition stage as of this Monday

Last Wednesday, August 19, the Undersecretary for Crime Prevention, Katherine Martorell, announced that six communes of the country will go to the Transition stage counting from this Monday 24.

From 05:00 hours, the communes that will leave the quarantine are Peñalolén, San José de Maipo, Padre Hurtado and Peñaflor, in the Metropolitan Region, The Andes, in the Valparaíso region, and Curico, in the Maule.

These four new communes of the capital are added to Santiago, Central Station, Melipilla, Curacaví, Lampa, Providencia, Colina, La Reina, Las Condes, Lo Barnechea, Ñuñoa, Til Til and Vitacura, which are in the same stage, while the two of regions are added to San Antonio, San Felipe, Rancagua, Machalí, María Pinto, Graneros and Tocopilla.

On the other hand, Juan Fernández will pass the stage Preparation for the Initial Opening stage.

In total will be 29 communes that will be in the Transition stage, leaving 54 localities in quarantine.
