The police in The Hague arrested six suspects on Tuesday in an investigation into violent youth groups. It concerns men and women between the ages of 18 and 23 years.
During the search of homes, narcotics, stolen goods, weapons and telephones were found. A total of eleven homes and associated cellar boxes in The Hague were searched.
The police have long been concerned about rival youth groups in The Hague using excessive force against each other. She therefore does not rule out that more arrests will follow.
The police are cooperating with the municipality and the Public Prosecution Service in the investigation. According to the police, a lot needs to be done to stop the increasing violence between groups.
The arrested young people are in complete restrictions and are therefore only allowed to have contact with their lawyer.
