Situation report on coronavirus COVID-19 in Uruguay (11/07/2021)
Epidemiological report:
According to information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 7,038 analyzes were carried out today and 180 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 180 new cases, 91 are from Montevideo, 21 from Canelones, 15 from Maldonado, 12 from Tacuarembó, 11 from Colonia, 11 from Lavalleja, 4 from Florida, 3 from Rocha, 2 from Cerro Largo, 2 from Rivera, 2 from San José, 1 from Artigas, 1 from Durazno, 1 from Paysandú, 1 from Río Negro, 1 from Soriano and 1 from Treinta y Tres.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,899,449 tests have been processed and 395,268 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 386,869 have already been recovered.
Today there was 1 death with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country (table with detail is attached). So far, there are 6,086 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 2,313 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 24 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 9,643 correspond to health personnel. 9,509 of them have already recovered, 106 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
As of today, all departments register active cases.
CLARIFICATION: The total of confirmed positive cases up to yesterday was 395,099. Today 180 new cases and a total of 395,268 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 11 cases were eliminated.
