Situation report on coronavirus COVID-19 in Uruguay (11/03/2021)
Epidemiological report:
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 9,039 analyzes were carried out and 195 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 195 new cases, 109 are from Montevideo, 26 from Canelones, 19 from Maldonado, 13 from Colonia, 6 from Lavalleja, 6 from Rocha, 5 from Tacuarembó, 3 from Cerro Largo, 3 from Soriano, 2 from Florida, 2 from Paysandú and 1 Treinta y Tres.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,860,042 tests have been processed and 394,443 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 386,013 have already been recovered.
Today there were no deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country. So far there are 6,080 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 2,350 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 25 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 9,601 correspond to health personnel. 9,463 of them have already recovered, 110 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
As of today, all departments register active cases.
