Epidemiological report:
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 5,042 analyzes were carried out today and 87 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 87 new cases, 61 are from Montevideo, 15 from Canelones, 2 from Colonia, 2 from San José, 2 from Soriano, 1 from Cerro Largo, 1 from Maldonado, 1 from Río Negro, 1 from Rocha and 1 from Treinta y Three.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,553,462 tests have been processed and 388,502 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 381,038 have already been recovered.
Today, there were no deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country (a detailed table is attached). So far, there are 6,052 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 1,412 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 14 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 9,319 correspond to health personnel. 9,191 of them have already recovered, 100 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
To date, all the departments register active cases except Artigas and Flores.
CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 388,424. Today 87 new cases and a total of 388,502 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 9 cases were eliminated.
