Epidemiological report:
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 6,847 analyzes were carried out and 80 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 80 new cases, 39 are from Montevideo, 19 from Canelones, 5 from Maldonado, 3 from Cerro Largo, 2 from Artigas, 2 from Rivera, 2 from Rocha, 2 from Tacuarembó, 2 from Treinta y Tres, 1 from Paysandú, 1 from Río Negro, 1 from Salto and 1 from Soriano.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,270,618 tests have been processed and 384,094 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 376,711 have already been recovered.
Today there were no deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country. So far, there are 6,016 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 1,367 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 18 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total confirmed positive cases, 9,076 correspond to health personnel. 9,013 of them have already recovered, 35 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
As of today, all departments register active cases.
CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 384,026. Today 80 new cases and a total of 384,094 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 12 cases were eliminated.
