In the past morning there was a computer incident of a component that receives tests from health providers. Although Agesic corrected the error and the component is already operational, the data received during the unavailability of the system is being processed at the time of this communication and will be reported tomorrow. Epidemiological report:
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 10,658 analyzes were carried out and 1,847 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 1,847 new cases, 922 are from Montevideo, 230 from Canelones, 87 from Paysandú, 76 from Maldonado, 56 from Salto, 53 from Tacuarembó, 45 from San José, 44 from Cerro Largo, 42 from Lavalleja, 40 from Río Negro, 36 from Soriano, 34 from Colonia, 33 from Artigas, 32 from Florida, 31 Treinta y Tres, 30 from Rivera, 26 from Flores, 22 from Rocha and 8 from Durazno.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 2,196,594 tests have been processed and 282,198 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 242,661 have already been recovered.
Today, 52 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country (table with detail is attached). So far there are 4,118 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 35,419 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 542 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 7,668 correspond to health personnel. 7,232 of them have already recovered, 417 are suffering from the disease and 19 have died.
As of today, the 19 departments have active cases.
CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 280,372. Today 1,847 new cases and a total of 282,198 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 21 cases were eliminated.
