Epidemiological report:
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 13,177 analyzes were carried out and 3,089 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 3,089 new cases, 1,539 are from Montevideo, 405 from Canelones, 235 from Maldonado, 128 from Salto, 122 from Tacuarembó, 121 from San José, 111 from Paysandú, 66 from Rivera, 58 from Colonia, 48 from Soriano, 45 from Lavalleja, 43 from Río Negro, 41 from Florida, 36 from Rocha, 33 from Cerro Largo, 24 from Artigas, 18 from Durazno, 10 from Treinta y Tres and 6 from Flores.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 2,113,069 tests have been processed and 265,098 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 227,531 have already been recovered.
Today, 61 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country (table with detail is attached). So far, there are 3,871 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 33,696 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 495 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 7,456 correspond to health personnel. 7,057 of them have already recovered, 380 are suffering from the disease and 19 have died.
As of today, the 19 departments have active cases.
