Epidemiological report:

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 11,417 analyzes were carried out today and 1,530 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. Of the 1,530 new cases, 814 are from Montevideo, 198 from Canelones, 138 from Rivera, 92 from Cerro Largo, 65 from Paysandú, 44 from Maldonado, 42 from Artigas, 26 from Soriano, 26 from Treinta y Tres, 20 from Salto, 15 from San José, 14 from Colonia, 13 from Lavalleja, 10 from Río Negro, 4 from Flores, 3 from Florida, 3 from Rocha, 2 from Tacuarembó and 1 from Durazno. In all cases, strict epidemiological monitoring is carried out.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 1,319,969 have been processed and 97,406 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 77,567 have already been recovered.

Today 14 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country. They are 1 patient from Maldonado, 77 years old, 1 patient from San José, 80 years old, 6 patients from Rivera, 59, 67, 72, 75, 84 and 98 years old, and 6 patients from Montevideo who are 74, 80, 86, 87. , 89 and 89 years old. So far there are 915 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 18,924 active cases, that is, people who are experiencing the disease, 295 of them are in intensive care.

Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 4,542 correspond to health personnel. 4048 of them have already recovered, 487 are suffering from the disease and 7 have died.

As of today, the 19 departments have active cases.

CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 95,278. Today 1,530 new cases and a total of 97,406 confirmed positive cases are reported.
The difference is explained because 618 cases reported out of date by laboratories were included, according to the MSP in the statement published today and available HERE and, on the other hand, because 20 cases were eliminated.
