Epidemiological report:

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 13,078 analyzes were carried out and 1,389 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. Of the 1,389 new cases, 688 are from Montevideo, 132 from Canelones, 98 from Salto, 95 from Rivera, 66 from Tacuarembó, 65 from San José, 46 from Río Negro, 39 from Paysandú, 35 from Artigas, 27 from Florida, 24 from Durazno, 16 from Cerro Largo, 14 from Maldonado, 12 from Lavalleja, 9 from Colonia, 9 from Rocha, 9 from Soriano and 5 from Treinta y Tres. In all cases, strict epidemiological monitoring is carried out.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 1,174,028 have been processed and 75,138 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 63,475 have already recovered.

Today 15 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country. They are 1 patient from Canelones, 89 years old, 2 patients from Cerro Largo, 65 and 68 years old, 2 patients from Río Negro, 60 and 92 years old, 2 patients from Salto, 37 and 78 years old, and 8 patients from Montevideo 62, 67 , 74, 82, 83, 82, 91 and 95 years. So far there are 740 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 10,923 active cases, that is, people who are developing the disease, 143 of them are in intensive care.

Of the total confirmed positive cases, 3905 correspond to health personnel. 3,488 of them have already recovered, 410 are suffering from the disease and 7 have died.

As of today, the 19 departments have active cases.

CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 73,770. Today 1,389 new cases and a total of 75,138 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because 21 cases were eliminated.
